Hi, I’m Mursal, founder and lead artist of Browz DC. Originally from Afghanistan, I was born in New Jersey, raised in Dubai, and moved to Washington, D.C. in 2017 to attend American University, where I studied Finance!

My foundation has always been in art. I grew up painting and drawing, and later grew to love makeup and aesthetics, I naturally developed a strong eye for detail, precision, and cosmetics early on. In 2019, I completed my first cosmetic tattooing training while still in school and began working with a small group of clients out of my apartment in D.C., which is where Browz DC first began.

What started as a side pursuit quickly evolved into a full-time career. After graduating in 2021, I committed fully to building Browz DC into what it is today. With over 6 years of experience, advanced certifications, and continued education, I specialize in elevated, natural-looking cosmetic tattooing that enhance your features. Now, with over 2,000 clients, Browz serves a loyal clientele both locally and out of state, with many clients traveling in specifically for appointments. Browz has been built on a high standard of care and I’m excited to continue expanding what we offer!
